Decide whether the decoration, permit, expansion item or other reward matters to your current farm. A long track for an unwanted prize is easy to skip.
Estimate inventory cost
Tasks that consume scarce products may slow machines and orders for days. Prefer events that overlap with goods or actions already in your plan.
Compare the calendar
A short intense event may not fit a busy week. Choose progress that matches the sessions you can actually play instead of relying on last-minute speed-ups.
Include enjoyment
Decoration, competition and collection are valid goals even when they are not the most efficient. Skip an efficient event if it makes the game feel like work.
