How to price goods in the Roadside Shop

Maximum price is a useful default, but stock type and urgency determine how quickly an item will actually move.

Start with demand

Expansion materials and useful finished goods usually attract attention quickly. Common crops may need a lower price or smaller bundles when many farms are advertising the same thing.

Use bundle size as a tool

Large stacks are convenient for active buyers but require more coins and storage. Smaller stacks make an item accessible to more players and can clear mixed inventory faster.

Advertise the right slot

Place the newspaper advertisement on an item likely to earn a click, then let visitors see the rest of the shop. Advertising an oversupplied crop may bring slower traffic.

Discount only with a reason

A quick discount makes sense when the barn is blocked or a crop event floods the market. Otherwise, patience often preserves value without requiring extra production.

Field note

Price is only one lever: item choice, stack size and the advertised slot also decide selling speed.

Keep planning

Read the product and crop reference for the next step.
